Charlotte Place
'A Conversation Between Two Birds'
Designed and painted in collaboration with Max Ballard
April 2021
52 x 1.2 - 4.5m
The task was to tie all of these varying undulating surfaces together. Using the taller outer two walls to depict a corella and a magpie as common native birds in the city area. The brightly coloured native flora shapes make up the conversation between them.

Overall, the project engaged the whole Charlotte Place and surrounding community to be a part of seeing the artwork grow. The project was supported by a City of Adelaide Public Arts grant and generous donations from the local community. The design works in with the natives that hang, crawl, grow and fly around and on it!!
